How to Keep Moving Forward When You're Feeling Overwhelmed
This week has been exhausting for me.
From waking up at 5 am every morning. To non-stop reading and testing different things that I’ve learned on the business.
Not to mention working a 10-hour shift and then trying to implement some personal time for hobbies and loved ones.
Often times (like today) I just wanna get back in bed and go back to sleep.
Which inspired me to write this blog post.
I wanted to give you a kind of behind the scenes look at to what’s going on.
If you look on social media, everyone makes it look so easy. But let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks.
This is why it is extremely important to count your blessings and celebrate the mini victories.
When it comes to building something for yourself as an entrepreneur, grinding trying to get that promotion, or even just trying to live a healthier lifestyle.
We can often be our own worst enemy. We constantly tell ourselves that we aren’t working hard enough.
Or we tell ourselves that we don't have time to sit down and relax because we could be getting more work done.
But if you instead look at the things you have already done. You may find it that you have done a lot more than what you’re giving yourself credit for.
Daily reflection plays a huge role on your path to success and financial freedom.
You need to allow yourself to take some time to decompress.
A part of living a healthier lifestyle includes listening to your body when it’s telling you its tired.
Yes, its good to push past your limits, and work as hard as you can to fight for what you believe in.
But at the same time, it is also good to relax (even if it's just for a little bit).
Instead of waking up at 5 am, wake up at 6 - 6:30 am
Instead of grinding all day, only work for half the day and relax for the rest of the day.
Take some time to take care of yourself and your body and you will be able to come back stronger when you get back to work.
But that's it for now. Let me know in the comments below what you like to do to relax.
As always, with love,
Steven
