3 Simple Hacks to Get More Energy & Boost Your Creativity in the Morning
Waking up early in the morning can often feel like a daunting task.
You know how much work you need to get done, and you know how important that work is.
So you carefully plan out your day to make sure that everything that needs to get done actually does.
But for some reason when that alarm goes off in the morning it just feels like all of your energy has been zapped out of your body and all you really wanna do is roll over and get some more sleep!
It is so easy to just hit that snooze button and catch a few more zzz's
But you and I both know that hitting that snooze button just leads to an ongoing cycle of “I’ll just do it tomorrow”.
Which means you’ll just keep pushing task after task to the next day until eventually you forget about it or it needs to be done at the last minute.
This is why I created this blog post.
In this blog post, I will share 3 unbelievably simple and easy hacks that when done consistently, will help you wake up every morning feeling more energized and help you get those creative juices flowing more easily.
Drink Plenty of Water
Probably the easiest and most overlooked/underrated hacks I can think of is just simply drinking a glass of water as soon as you wake up.
Having a big glass of water early in the morning helps you hydrate the body and wake you up when you’re still feeling sleepy.
Instead of hitting snooze and going back to sleep, try reaching for a big glass of water and drink that before you roll back over.
Exercise
Getting your blood flowing early in the morning helps to wake you up and boost your confidence.
You can start with an exercise you enjoy doing like going for a morning run, hitting the gym for a quick workout session, or doing some yoga.
You can even do something as simple as a quick 10-15 minute home workout just to get the blood flowing before work.
Meditate
Meditation is a great way to boost creativity.
Starting your morning with a 5-10 minute meditation session helps to clear the mind of all distractions and allows you to be able to think more clearly on the task at hand.
This list is in no particular order (well except for drinking water, you gotta do that one first)
But exercising and meditation should be done in whatever order works best for you.
You can meditate first and then hit a quick workout session like I do. Or you can go for a morning run and then come back and do your meditation while you take a shower.
Ever wonder why you have most of your best ideas in the shower?
The next time you’re feeling stressed out or just can’t seem to find the answers to your problems
Try going for a morning run to clear your mind and then meditate while taking a nice warm shower.
Close your eyes and just listen to the water. The answer you’re looking for will come easier than you think. You just have to stop trying to force it and let it come to you.
I hope these tips help you wake up feeling more energized!
